Meet Our Team

Dr. David Gordon is one of Cache Valley’s native sons, growing up at the foot of the beautiful Wellsville Mountains in Mendon. Dr. Gordon graduated from Mountain Crest High School in 1996 and served a two-year mission for the LDS Church in London, England. Upon his return from England, Dr. Gordon enrolled at Utah State University, where he met and married his sweet wife, Mindi. The Gordons have five beautiful girls and two boys. Dr. Gordon loves golf, good food, music and anything outdoorsy, but his truest happiness comes from spending time with his family.

Education

Dr. Gordon received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, graduating with a B.S. in biology. Dr. Gordon completed his dental training at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Dr. Gordon’s dental school training emphasized excellent clinical competency and only the highest quality of dentistry. Through his training, Dr. Gordon became proficient in comfortable and predictable restoration of teeth to proper function and beautiful form. Since dental school, Dr. Gordon has completed implant placement and restoration training at the Whitecap Institute.

Jill is our office manager. You can expect to see Jill working tirelessly to ensure all of our patients have the best experience possible. She is the friendly face at the front desk, and you can always expect to see a Diet Coke by her side! Her favorite part about work is meeting and developing friendships with our amazing patients. She is a Cache Valley native and graduated from Mountain Crest High School. Jill and her husband, Brandon, live in Providence and enjoy spending time with their six children, two granddaughters, and Goldendoodles, Beau and Hank. They also enjoy starring in their YouTube channel, DIY Love Life.

Kenzie is our sleep apnea coordinator as well as part of our front office team. She loves to sleep and wants to help everyone get a good night rest! She is from Cedar Hills, Utah, and is a UVU graduate with a bachelors in family science. Kenzie loves all things outside and under the sun! When she’s not at work, you can often find her in the mountains, either hiking, running, camping, mountain biking, snowboarding or anything else she can try that gets her outside. Kenzie and her husband recently bought their first home together and are excited to grow their lives here in Logan!

Emily is our social media specialist. She is a native of Cache Valley. Emily graduated from Ridgeline High School, where she was a cheerleader! Her outgoing personality and cheerful disposition are just a few of the things our patients loved about Emily when she was our first impression specialist! Emily recently became a mom of a beautiful little girl, Summer! She and her husband enjoy spending time as a family, being outside and supporting their younger siblings. Emily loves being social and connecting with people, and she also loves sunshine and all things pink!

Sophie is part of our front office team and handles all the fun things that come with insurance. She is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and has been living in Logan for over two years. Sophie is the oldest of four kids and loves to learn and try new things. Outside of work, she loves to visit family back home, go on runs, do hot yoga and ski with her fiancé during the winter in Park City. Sophie comes to work ready to help in any way and genuinely loves getting to know our patients. Sophie is always down for a good hike or trying out a new restaurant, and her guilty pleasure is any type of energy drink!

Shaena is our clinical team lead. She is from Cache Valley and graduated from Mountain Crest High. She attended Utah State University and graduated from Fortis College in Salt Lake City with her dental hygiene degree. She NEVER slows down! She is the Energizer Bunny and loves to stay busy! Shaena married her husband, Tyson, in 2016, and together, they welcomed their first little girl, Sawyer, in the summer of 2021. Shaena is a fitness fanatic, and she loves baking and being outdoors. Mostly, though, she loves being with Tyson, Sawyer, and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Wren.

MiKayla loves being a dental hygienist! She really enjoys taking care of patients and making sure they have a great experience at Logan Peak Dental and that they leave with a bright, happy smile!

When she was in high school, she went on a humanitarian mission trip to Guatemala at an orphanage assisting with dental work, and her goal is to do many more trips just like it! That trip inspired her to make dental work her career. She graduated from Weber State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s in dental hygiene.

Outside of work, she loves to play volleyball, watch movies, and play with her silly Labradoodle puppy, Lilo.

Sophia was raised in Georgetown, Idaho, in the Bear Lake Valley. She is the oldest of six kids and enjoyed a childhood full of outdoor adventures. She is married and is the mother of four adorable kids! Her family enjoys spending time outdoors as well as enjoying movie marathons at home, all cuddled up on the couch. Sophia’s favorites are musicals and all things Harry Potter. She earned her associate degree at Utah State University and continued her education at Weber State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Sophia has trained with NEO Health Services to become qualified as an orofacial myologist. Orofacial myology, aka myofunctional therapy, has added so much to her ability to help a broader spectrum of patients. Sophia loves all things related to dental hygiene and has truly enjoyed applying the things she has learned to helping her patients connect the dots of the things she sees in the mouth to the overall health and systemic conditions in her patients.

Rylie is our lead assistant! She attended Bridgerland Technical College, where she received her assisting certificate. She grew up in Idaho and graduated from Preston High School. Rylie and her husband, Owen, currently live in Preston. Rylie is a smalltown girl at heart and always will be! Rylie’s favorite part about work is meeting and getting to know all of our patients and helping everyone become more confident in their smiles. Outside of work, you can find Rylie spending time with family, traveling or doing anything fun outside.

Laci is one of our amazing assistants! She grew up right here in Cache Valley where she graduated from Ridgeline High School. Laci received a softball scholarship to a junior college in Montana. After completing and earning her associate degree, she now is enrolled in Weber University’s online program. Laci plans to become a hygienist! She loves softball, her boyfriend, working out, being in the mountains, and her dogs!
